Today,  was the hottest day in years  – at some places the temperature measured 37C/99F! Maybe not that hot to some of you, but here in Holland homes, office buildings, public transport usually don’t have AC…cept for newer cars.

When it does get hot, say like 30C+ for a couple of days it’s always followed by heavy rain n thunderstorms. I thought it would be a great chance to try and capture some lightning photos (one of the few things that’s high on my wishlist)- but I failed because the sky was too bright.
