Talk about new toys, I finally picked up my first L lens – Canon 70-200 F4 IS
according to many users this telelens is the sharpest zoomlens Canon has ever made.

When I upgraded my camera, I decided to upgrade my lens collection too (because EF-S lenses won’t fit my fullframe camera) – still, spending a grand on a single lens still hurts the wallet XD
One of the most noticeable things is that the autofocus is much faster than any other lens that I own: it’s so smooth and quiet.
I guess this is why people are raving about L lenses:  it costs (alot) more, but you will get top quality in return. Not only IQ wise, but speedy AF, weathersealing and superb built too ^^

Even though I’ll be using my Tamron 28-75 F2.8 as my walkaround lens most of the time, I want the longer focal length for portraits. If you haven’t checked, I had a great time shooting models at this Zoom Experience event last month .
