Talk about new toys, I finally picked up my first L lens – Canon 70-200 F4 IS
according to many users this telelens is the sharpest zoomlens Canon has ever made.
When I upgraded my camera, I decided to upgrade my lens collection too (because EF-S lenses won’t fit my fullframe camera) – still, spending a grand on a single lens still hurts the wallet XD
One of the most noticeable things is that the autofocus is much faster than any other lens that I own: it’s so smooth and quiet.
I guess this is why people are raving about L lenses:Â it costs (alot) more, but you will get top quality in return. Not only IQ wise, but speedy AF, weathersealing and superb built too ^^
Even though I’ll be using my Tamron 28-75 F2.8 as my walkaround lens most of the time, I want the longer focal length for portraits. If you haven’t checked, I had a great time shooting models at this Zoom Experience event last month .
Sunsets are beautiful, but even more stunning are skies just after sunset. You just have to work fast, because there’s not much time.
Brrr…winter is here, outside it’s storming and raining all the time. So I started wearing my scarf and gloves. But what can you make your pets wear without making you look like posh mofo?
If I owned a dog I would make him/her wear this! haha, Char would be proud!
Dragonball, who didn’t love that show. I know I did and all my friends were into this immensely popular manga/anime created by Akira Toriyama. back in 1984. I think i watched the show around 1994? Everyone read those mangas at school and we exchanged videotapes with the latest episodes on it. Yes VHS tapes! Dragonball continues to be ever so popular, even now new games are released on every next gen console/handheld. The same goes for figures. But who would have expected Bandai would release a modelkit of Son Goku?
It was my first time at the Zoom Experience 2009 event last month (the only camera event for photog’s in Holland )
Sadly the event was overloaded with the mass due to the exhibition owner giving away thousands of free tickets.
